Franck RibΓ©ry is a French former professional footballer who played primarily as a winger, known for his explosive left-wing play and passing ability. Born on 7 April 1998, RibΓ©ry grew up in a low-income neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. When he was two years old, he and his family were involved in a car accident in his hometown, where he was hit by a lorry. He required over a hundred stitches and was left with two long scars on the right side of his face and one of his eyebrows badly damaged.
