A player who is not noticed by people in both Liverpool and Argentina, a player who is not praised as much as he might be when the game is over and the trophies are won, a player who has been an indispensable player in the midfield with his best performances throughout Argentina's World Cup journey, that player is Elat Maccabi Alissa. Maccabi Alissa was born on December 24, 1998 in 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 ,𝐋𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚. MacLarsa began his playing career with the youth team of the 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, but before joining the 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬, he started his career with the 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐪𝐮𝐞. MacLarsa made his debut for the 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 in 2016.

MacLarsa spent three seasons with the 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 before moving to Premier League club Brighton on 24 January 2019. He was loaned back to the 𝐀𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 for the remainder of the 2018–19 MacLazza spent the first season on loan at Brighton. MacLazza made his debut for Brighton in a Premier League match against Wolves on 7 March 2020. MacLazza has been a regular for Brighton and has established himself as a key player in the midfield. MacLazza's performances have earned him a call-up to the Argentina national team in January 2022. MacLazza has made several appearances for the Argentine national team as a substitute.

At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Argentina suffered a shock 2–1 defeat to Saudi Arabia in their opening match, sending them crashing out of the group stage. After the defeat to Saudi Arabia, Argentina coach Scaloni made a change to the midfield, and it was because of this change that Argentina won the World Cup. Maccabi Al-Azza made his debut against Mexico and showed his best performance. Maccabi Al-Azza played a lot to help Argentina win the World Cup. Due to his performance in the World Cup, Maccabi Al-Azza attracted the attention of many European clubs, and on June 8, 2023, he moved to Liverpool, a major Premier League club. Although Maccabi Al-Azza had a difficult first season with Liverpool, he gradually settled in and became an important player for the team. In the 2024–25 season, Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klose left and was replaced by Arne Slattery.
