The MMA world's greatest fighter, "Khabib"

Born on September 20, 1988, Khabib is a former professional mixed martial artist who competed in the UFC's lightweight division. He is the longest-serving UFC lightweight champion, having held the title from April 2018 to March 2021, and retired with a 29-fight unbeaten streak. Khabib was born into an Avar family in the village of Sildi, Tusmardinsky District, Dagestan AASSR, an autonomous republic within the Soviet Union, Russian SFSR. He has two siblings, an older brother, Magomed, and a younger sister, Amina. After his father's family moved out of the house, his father converted the ground floor of their two-story building into a gym. He grew up with his siblings and became interested in martial arts by watching his father train in his home gym.
He began wrestling at an early age, under his father's tutelage at the age of eight, and his childhood training included bear wrestling by the age of nine. His father was a Russian, He is a senior coach of the Makhachkala national combat sambo team and a veteran of the Soviet Army, who wrestled as a young man before training in judo and sambo in the military. In 2001, his family moved to Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, and he began training in wrestling and judo at the age of 12, and learned combat sambo at the age of 17 under his father's tutelage.
He made his professional MMA debut in September 2008, winning four fights in a month. On October 11, he defeated three opponents in a Moscow bout to become the Atruim Cup champion.
