The life story of ParkJisung , the man with 3 lungs

Park Ji-sung is one of the greatest and most successful Asian players in football history, having won 19 trophies during his career. He was the first Asian player to play in and win the UEFA Champions League final, and the first Asian to win the FIFA Club World Cup. He is known for his versatility and ability to play in any position on the pitch, earning him the nickname "The Man with Three Lungs". He is also known for his exceptional physical strength and hard work. Park Ji-sung began his career in his native South Korea, playing for a university football team before moving to Japan to play for Kyoto Sanga FC. His international career took him to the Netherlands to manage PSV Eindhoven, where he joined his mentor just a year later. Before Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson could take notice of his talent, he reached the semi-finals of the Champions League with PSV in 2004–05, and won two domestic titles, the FA Cup and the Johan Cruyff Shield.

He joined Manchester United in July 2005 for around Β£4 million and went on to win 11 trophies with United, including four Premier League titles, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. After 7 years with the club, he moved to QPR in 2012. However, QPR were plagued by injury problems and the club were relegated, so he returned to PSV on loan for the 2003–04 season, before retiring shortly after the end of the season due to a knee injury.

As a member of the South Korean national team, Park Ji-sung made 100 appearances and scored 13 goals. He was a member of the team at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and also represented the team at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He was named Man of the Match 4 times at the World Cup, the most by any Asian player. He also shares the record of scoring 3 goals in 3 World Cups with Ahn Jung-wum and Son Heung-min.

Park Ji-sung was born on March 30, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea. While in school, he was noticed as one of the most promising young talents in South Korea and was scouted by several clubs, due to his excellent work rate, He was known for his dribbling and passing skills. However, after middle school, his small stature became his main weakness. While in high school, he helped his high school team win the 1998 Korean National Games. However, he was rejected by professional clubs and university teams because of his poor form. However, he was allowed to play for Myung-ji University after his teachers' comments.

In January 1999, his university team was given a chance to practice with the South Korean Olympic team, and after his impressive performances, he caught the attention of the South Korean national team and Olympic team coach. He then became a preliminary member of the Olympic team and was eventually selected for the team. On April 5, 2010, he made his debut for the national team in a 2011 Asian Cup qualifier against Laos.
