There is a Canadian citizen but a foreigner who loves traditional Burmese boxing very much. That person is 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜, better known as Dewa. Dewa was born on December 13, 1991 in Gatineau, Quebec. Dewa has traveled the world and studied martial arts, so he is a person who is familiar with boxing, Muay Thai and other martial arts. Dewa played 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋 from a young age and started studying martial arts at the age of 17. Dewa has competed in amateur boxing. Since 2013, Dewa has fought in Canada 𝐌𝐌𝐀 and has won 3 fights in a row.

In 2013, Dave traveled to Thailand and competed in Muay Thai, defeating his fierce rival, the South Korean. In 2014, he moved up to the junior division, where he lost two straight fights. In 2014, Dave competed in the Thai Premier Fight and won. He became the first Canadian to win. Since Canada had declared Muay Thai and Boxing illegal, Dave studied a variety of martial arts, and in 2016, he sold his belongings and moved to Asia. He began training at Tiger Boxing in Phuket, Thailand, one of the largest Muay Thai clubs in the world. In 2016, Dave was invited to compete in the Myanmar Boxing World Championship. In his first fight, he fought against an undefeated Burmese fighter, Tu Tu, and the fight ended in a draw, but he was able to defeat Tu Tu.

Since then, Dewa has been supported by many Burmese fans. In his fight with Tun Tun Min, they fought hard to make it a good match for the fans, but the result was a draw. Towards the end of 2016, he entered the Aung Lan Golden Belt Championship. He won the Lethwai 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 competition in 2016, defeating Tun Tun Min by knockout, becoming the first non-Burmese foreigner to win the Lethwai 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 award. Dewa's fierce fighting style, his strength, and his head-butting skills have allowed him to win many competitions. In February 2017, he fought in a gold belt defense match in Japan and not only won, but also received a lot of support from the fans.

Dave fought against both foreign and Myanmar famous players for the gold belt defense match and defended the gold belt many times. Dave was invited to fight in 𝐌𝐌𝐀, but Dave refused.
